I’ve joined the Tour de Fleece for the first time this year. I didn’t know the Tour existed but I’ve been spinning for a couple of years now. And I’ve enjoyed watching the Tour de France for the past 4 or 5 years. It’s going to be so cool to combine the two!!
There are actually two Tour de Fleeces on the web, the one I joined I found on Ravelry, it’s also got a flickr pool. The other is here if you are curious.
The Chicken Legs got really excited, they’ve never watch the tour before or watched me spin! They immediately started poking in my fiber stash and pulled out a couple of piles of bunny.

“The bunny this fiber came from is named Domy,” I told The Chicken Legs. They were entranced. I had a hard time getting them to let me put it away!
The next batch The Chicken Legs found was some dyed angora that was clipped, the fiber from Domy is plucked and I think is much softer.

I had to tell The Chicken Legs to be patient, though. My first goal is to get the yarn finished that I have on the bobbins right now!

How hard is it to process angora? Is it the same deal as washing fleece etc?
p.s. Love the blue stuff
